A few tips on writing a clear artist’s bio:
1. Start with who you are and what you photograph.
One sentence. Keep it clean.
2. Describe the themes or ideas your work focuses on.
1–2 sentences about what you’re drawn to, stylistically or conceptually.
3. Mention notable education, exhibitions, publications, or clients (if any).
A brief highlight reel — not a résumé.
4. Describe where you’re based and where you’re active.
This helps situate your work geographically or culturally.
5. End with a note on your current project or focus.
1 short sentence about what you’re working on now.
